As
the Founder and Managing Member of
Comvest Properties, LLC, ™ and its
affiliate development company, Net Lease
Developers, LLC. Mr. Holstein is
primarily responsible for the
development of single tenant retail
stores as well as the development of
retail shopping centers. Brooks began
his commercial real estate career in
1979 as Southwestern Real Estate
Representative for Wendy’s
International. He later had the good
fortune to join Morrison’s Restaurants
as a Real Estate Manager and completed
his tenure at MRI as Divisional Director
of Real Estate for Ruby Tuesday
Restaurants, Mobile, Alabama. Brooks
left corporate real estate in 1996 to
become Vice President of Brokerage
Services at Grubb & Ellis / Sawyer Real
Estate. Prior to the formation of
Comvest Properties, LLC, ™ Brooks was
Vice President of Retail Development in
Mississippi for and a member of the
Executive Committee of a Louisiana based
development company.
Brooks
graduated from the University of
Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration. He recently
completed the Harvard University
Graduate School of Design Advanced
Management Program in Real Estate. He is
a member of the International Council of
Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has served
as State Chairman for
Mississippi/Alabama, as well as
Mississippi State Director of
Governmental Affairs. Brooks is a Life
Member of the University of Mississippi
Alumni Association and is also an active
member of the Real Estate Academic
Initiative at Harvard University, the
Harvard Graduate School of Design Alumni
Association, and the Mississippi
Chapters of Certified Commercial
Investment Member and the Commercial
Association of Realtors. In addition to
Mississippi, Brooks holds Real Estate
Broker’s licenses in Louisiana and
Texas. |
